In 2016, Malaysia aiming to attract 30.5 million tourists to our shores from 25.7 million in 2015 contributing RM103bil worth of tourist receipts. Through the Tourism NKEA (National Key Economic Area), collaborative efforts between the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, other Government agencies and the private sector have been enhanced to help secure Malaysia’s position as a leading tourist destination and achieve the country’s target of 36 million tourist arrivals and RM168 billion in receipts by 2020. Hence, Malaysia need more hotels and homestays to serve the growth in tourist arrivals.

PERTUBUHAN USAHAWAN HOTEL & HOMESTAY or MyHomes is established to bring together all Malaysia’s entrepreneurs in hotel & homestay in one place for mutual benefits. MyHomes has gather industry experts not just in new hotel and homestay development advisory services but also in management, operation, health & safety and marketing. As a member, you will have full access to MyHomes expertise.

MyHomes will have a constant communication with government agencies and other associations (locally and oversea) in hospitality and tourism industry to discuss, get new information and new development in the industry and disseminate the information to our members.

To help further develop our members, we have planned several activities such as training and seminar, job placement program and skills certification program which cater all stakeholders in the industry.
